The Kent Conservatory Company is a family business which prides itself on good service, quality, innovation and value for money. Although renown for our hardwood conservatories we have from an early stage been one of the leading companies to introduce Contemporary Orangeries as an addition to our widely known traditional Orangeries.
Our in house design team have years of experience detailing structural steel work and this knowledge has helped us produce Contemporary Orangeries with steel lantern supports that ensure solid construction and the ability to manufacture difficult shapes and sizes.
We provide a truly comprehensive yet flexible service from concept to completion, dealing with all aspects of design and Local Authority approvals. We specialise in listed building and conservation work although we are equally capable of producing the latest products at the cutting edge of modern technology as shown by our recent design and build of an ultra modern `Grand Design` dwelling where extensive areas of glass are a feature of the property.

The dwarf wall will be raised off the concrete foundation comprising an outer skin of faced brickwork, 75/100mm wide cavity, and an inner 100mm plastered block work skin .
Variations including reclaimed bricks , render or ragstone are also available .
The floor area will be formed from hard-core blinded with sand and topped with approximately 100mm (4") of solid concrete followed by a screed finish suitable for most types of floor finish, including ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, carpet, etc.
Structurally our bases are always built to Building Regulation standards which would be equally suitable for a full extension as we believe a sound base ensures no future movement in the upper structure .
